These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.vedaantorganic.com (“Website”) and your purchase of products from Vedaant Organic through the Website.

By accessing the Website, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms, together with the policies referred to in or linked from these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website or place an order.

Vedaant Organic reserves the right to update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with the revised “Last Updated” date.

Vedaant Organic operates its online store using Shopify as its e-commerce platform. Shopify provides the technology and infrastructure that enables us to offer our products online. The existing store confirms that it is hosted on Shopify.

3. Eligibility to Use the Website

You may use the Website only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable Indian law.

If you are a minor, you should use the Website only with the involvement and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Parents or guardians are responsible for purchases made by minors using their account, device or payment method.

Vedaant Organic offers personal-care and cosmetic products through the Website.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product names, descriptions, images, ingredients, directions and other information displayed on the Website are accurate and useful.

• product images may appear slightly different depending on your device or screen;
• packaging and labelling may change from time to time;
• product availability may change;
• product information may be updated without prior notice; and
• individual results may vary depending on factors including skin, hair, usage, environment and individual characteristics.

The product packaging and label supplied with the product should be treated as the final reference for product-specific information, including ingredients, directions for use, warnings, batch details, manufacturing information, expiry/best-before information and other applicable declarations.

Vedaant Organic products are intended for personal-care and cosmetic use as described on the relevant product page and/or product packaging.

Unless expressly stated and legally permitted, our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Information provided on the Website should not be treated as medical, dermatological or professional healthcare advice.

If you have a known allergy, sensitivity, skin condition or other concern, you should review the product ingredients and seek appropriate professional advice before use.

If irritation, discomfort or an adverse reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek appropriate medical advice where necessary.

Placing an order on the Website constitutes an offer by you to purchase the selected products.

An order is subject to acceptance and availability.

Vedaant Organic reserves the right to decline, cancel or limit an order in circumstances including:

• suspected fraudulent or unauthorised transactions;
• incorrect customer or delivery information;
• unusual or excessive quantities;
• suspected resale or commercial misuse; or
• other circumstances permitted under applicable law.

Where an order is cancelled after payment has been received, the applicable refund will be processed in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

11. Accuracy of Customer Information

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when placing an order or creating an account.

This may include your name, billing details, delivery address, telephone number and email address.

You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery information provided by you is correct.

Vedaant Organic will not be responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated information supplied by the customer, subject to applicable consumer rights.

12. Payments

Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers made available through the Website.

Vedaant Organic does not ordinarily require customers to provide or transmit payment-card credentials directly to Vedaant Organic outside the designated payment process.

Payment transactions may be subject to the terms, privacy policies and security procedures of the relevant payment service provider.

The existing Shopify terms contain a blanket statement regarding encryption of credit-card information; I have removed that wording because the Website Terms should not make a technical security representation that may depend on the particular payment provider being used.

13. Shipping and Delivery

Orders will be processed and delivered in accordance with the Shipping & Delivery Policy published on the Website.

Estimated delivery timelines are indicative and may be affected by factors such as:

• delivery location;
• logistics provider delays;
• weather;
• public holidays;
• operational disruptions; or
• circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Any specific shipping charges, delivery timelines, geographical restrictions or delivery conditions applicable to an order will be communicated during the purchasing process or through the applicable Shipping Policy.

14. Cancellation, Returns and Refunds

Order cancellation, returns, replacements and refunds will be governed by Vedaant Organic's Cancellation & Refund Policy / Returns Policy, as applicable.

Customers should review the applicable policy before placing an order.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict or exclude any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable Indian law.

The present Shopify terms simply refer customers to a “Returns Policy” without setting out the actual policy. Therefore, I recommend keeping the detailed operational rules in a separate, clearly accessible policy rather than duplicating them here.

15. Website Content

The Website may contain information relating to products, ingredients, personal care, beauty, grooming and general consumer information.

Such information is provided for general informational purposes.

Although we endeavour to maintain accurate and updated information, we do not guarantee that every item of information on the Website will always be complete, current or error-free.

Vedaant Organic may correct errors, update information or modify Website content at any time.

16. Errors and Omissions

Occasionally, the Website may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to:

“Vedaant Organic” and associated brand names, logos, product names, designs and other branding elements may constitute trademarks or other protected intellectual property.

No right or licence to use these marks is granted merely by accessing or purchasing from the Website.

If you voluntarily submit a review, testimonial, photograph, feedback, suggestion or other content to Vedaant Organic, you confirm that:

• the content is truthful to the best of your knowledge;

The existing Shopify version contains a lengthy prohibited-use clause; this version retains the relevant protections while removing unnecessary jurisdiction-specific wording.

Certain Website links may also direct you to websites operated by third parties.

Vedaant Organic does not control the policies or practices of independent third parties.

We endeavour to keep the Website operational and secure but cannot guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or completely free from errors.

You must not attempt to compromise the security or functionality of the Website.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vedaant Organic will not be responsible for losses arising solely from:

We do not seek to exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

This clause does not limit any statutory rights available to consumers.

Vedaant Organic will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform an obligation where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, governmental restrictions, strikes, transportation disruptions, internet or infrastructure failures, or other comparable events.

We will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact of such circumstances where practicable.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to take away, restrict or override rights available to consumers under applicable Indian law.

Where any provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory provision of applicable law, the mandatory legal provision will prevail to the extent of the conflict.

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Subject to applicable consumer-protection laws and any mandatory jurisdictional rights available to consumers, disputes relating to the Website or purchases from Vedaant Organic shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts and authorities in India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will continue to remain effective.

If Vedaant Organic does not immediately enforce any right or provision under these Terms, that does not mean that Vedaant Organic has waived that right or provision.
